What we do
Resin Art
Resin art is created when a liquid chemical epoxy resin combines together with various colour pigments and textures. This produces a blend of unique patterns and designs. The resin gradually hardens to a solid plastic as a chemical reaction between its 2 components takes place. Resin has between 45min and 1hr work time once the 2 chemicals are mixed together. This is the time you have to create your masterpiece. Resin can be used to make many things. Resin serving boards are very popular. Coasters, dishes, jewellery and keyrings - used with silicon moulds you can make many shapes and designs. Pyramids to hold keepsakes. Dried flowers, lights, photos, bookmarks, incense holders, signs, dining tables, coffee tables. You can resin on tiles for splash backs. We explore all these techniques in our classes and encourage you to be as creative as possible!
Acrylic Pour
Acrylic paint pouring is a fluid painting technique used to create art by pouring acrylic paint onto a canvas or surface using many different techniques. These make amazing marbling patterns. Not one painting is the same. Acrylic paint pouring is easy to do and very satisfying which makes it great for all skill levels. You mix Acrylic paint with a paint medium called Floetrol... this creates wonderful mesmerising cells before your eyes. Acrylic paint pouring is very addictive, it is not an expensive hobby. It is a great family activity for all ages and beginners. We would love you to join one of our Acrylic Pour classes to get your artistic juices flowing!
